The
magazine “Caucasus Environment” is a bilingual (English and Russian) magazine.
The aim of CENN was to create an independent newsstand-quality publication on
environmental issues - a magazine that could educate, inspire and empower
Caucasus citizens to make a difference for the environment.
The
magazine covers essential issues for the environmentalist while also being of
interest to a wider audience, dealing with a range of topics from the personal
to the political sectors. The magazine has a characteristic of “Local - Country
- Regional” publication and highlights information on the international,
national and local levels.
The
magazine “Caucasus Environment” represents the only modern wide-ranging
publication in the region for everyone that is dealing with or interested in the
environmental science and management issues in the Caucasus and will serve as a
valuable publication for target groups mentioned above, who have a vital role in
the elaboration and implementation of sustainable, environmentally sound
development strategies of the region. It is believed that the magazine will help
to increase environmental education and public awareness, promote environmental
knowledge in educational institutions, popularize modern environmental concepts
and trends and promote transboundary collaboration in the region in the filed of
the environment. The
magazine will assist strengthening of environmental NGOs of the region and
deepening collaboration between NGOs and the State institutions |
